ONE THURROCK – PROMOTING TOLERANCE IN THE BOROUGH
Be part of One Thurrock – one community regardless of who you are or what you believe.
WHERE: Lansdowne Primary School, Lansdowne Road, Tilbury
WHEN: February 9th 2.45pm to 5.30pm
The event has been arranged to tie in with International Holocaust Remembrance Day on January 27th and Thurrock’s annual visit to Auschwitz.
We hope to offer information, displays and demonstrations from different community groups, and partners including voluntary groups and Essex Police. This will include the promotion of how to report Hate Crime and active citizenship.
As well as pupils and members of the Landsdowne Primary School family will be joined by those from neighbouring St Marys School and drama pupils from The Gateway Academy also playing their part.
There will be opportunities for your organisation to engage with residents from Tilbury with information displays. We are also keen to hear from anyone who has practical demonstrations that could be part of the event.
If you would like to confirm attendance please complete the attached form and return it to safer.thurrock@thurrock.gov.uk.
